This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
What is the value of digital art? Does the number of copies affect the value of the art? Why do something using digital technology if you could do that by hand? What if the piece can not be done by hand?
"Maybe there are some psychological issues that interfere with the idea of possessing a masterpiece that no one else has it." (Sam A. Nassar)
Art came to me late in life but I soon fell passionately in love with it. In sharp contrast to my straitlaced day job, art has allowed me to express myself creatively. I go to sleep and wake up thinking about art. At times, it seems that everything I think or do relates to it.
DeviantArt is a natural fit for me. Not only is it an ideal forum for me to exhibit my art it allows me to be in touch with others who think like me.
Unfortunately, I am not fluent in English (I got help with this blurb). I therefore ask you to bear with me when I make mistakes in English or choose to write in Portuguese in order to express myself better. Hopefully, Google Translate will give you a good idea of what I meant to say.
I really appreciate your constructive criticism on my work but I would be grateful if you could make your comments on the relevant artwork page or by using the “send a note” option rather than writing on my profile page. Also, if I have included your work among my favorites, you don’t have to thank me – it just means that I was moved by it. I am the one who should thank you for sharing.
